WHEELY-SAFE TO EXHIBIT AT TIP-EX / TANK-EX SHOW

Wheely-Safe will be displaying the latest generation of its award-winning technology at the Tip-Ex / Tank-Ex Show. The rearranged event will be held at the Harrogate Convention Centre between Thursday, September 30 and Saturday, October 2.

It will be the first time Wheely-Safe has attended the event and provides the burgeoning business an ideal opportunity to show off the full range of safety benefits its suite of intelligent tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), wheel loss and brake temperature sensing systems can bring to tipper and tanker operators.

Steve Jackson, Managing Director at Wheely-Safe, says: “Wheel and tyre safety in the bulk and tipper haulage market is absolutely crucial, and we are looking forward to talking visitors through all the advantages our system can bring to their operation.

“Our product is the only one on the market that can identify when a wheel nut is beginning to loosen mid-journey, as well as supplying crucial data on tyre pressures and a temperature warning system that flags up any potential brake or hub issues.

“We’re already working with many tipper and tanker fleets across the country and overseas – helping them to improve health & safety, reduce downtime and saving them money by eliminating costly blowouts and cutting fuel bills.”

Earlier this year, the company launched its first telematics-ready systems as part of a major upgrade of its technologies – enhancing its offer to fleets, telematics providers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

Wheely-Safe will be exhibiting at Stand C74 at the Tip-Ex and Tank-Ex Show.

Notes to editor:

Wheely-Safe Ltd is a technology start-up founded in 2010 by two lifelong friends – Gary Thomas, a Director of his own transport compliance consultancy, and Gary Broadfield, a Director of Technology and serial inventor for a large Japanese electronics manufacturer. Together they brought the marriage of skills required to help solve wheel loss issues in the automotive sector, and to tackle the huge number of vehicles driving every day on under-inflated tyres. The early years of Wheely-Safe concentrated on attaining worldwide patent protection and technology small enough to fit near the wheels of all vehicle types, from cars and vans to trucks and trailers – with its first products launched into the market during 2018. www.wheely-safe.com
